Barebottle Brewing Co.
Barebottle Brewing has officially opened in Bernal! The spacious location has clean details that compliment the open feel of the brewery, including sculptural hops as light fixtures. Originally award winning homebrewers, the owners included a honey beer and bay-themed items like the Citra-hopped Scurvy Fighter. They have games for both adults and children, including cornhole! Lastly, they have the ability to can beers right in front of you. Check it out for a private event or just swing by.

Mac Daddy
No, it certainly isn't your mother's mac and cheese.
Brand new to the Dogpatch is an exquisite little eatery serving- you guessed it- all of the assortments of mac and cheese that you could ever imagine. There are also salads and soups if you're feeling low key.
With toppings like chipotle adobo, smoked bacon, cilantro, and fritos, these people aren't messing around. Bright and clean, the restaurant is as attractive as the food it serves, which also includes toulouse style cassoulet, fish & chips, cheesy fries, and asparagus with various delightful additions.
1453 18th Street: pop in for dinner or get some to-go.

The Barbary Coast
Duck confit banh mi. Baked oysters. Hot chicken biscuits.
Also, there's a patio that will ruin all other patios for you. It's The Barbary Coast in North Beach, which newly opened on Green street. Previously home to the beatnik poetry scene (yes, Kerouac, Kesey, and Ginsberg hung out here when it was The Old Spaghetti Factory), the list doesn't end there. The Kingston Trio, Arlo Guthrie, Robin Williams, and Donald Pippin are amongst other previous performers in the space. Incredible!
Come for the Pork Tonkatsu, stay for the historic vibe.

Āina
Hawaiian brunch any day of the week! Seriously.
New to the Dogpatch as of one week ago, Ãina delightfully serves up traditional Hawaiian eats like Malasadas, Kalua pork belly, and homemade Spam Musubi. Complete with a relaxing, thoughtful ambiance, Ãina has a large drink menu including Coconut Milk Punch with sweet vermouth and amaro for the adults and ginger lavender lemonade for the kids.
You'll definitely be back for more.

Bar San Pancho
New to the Mission, and brought to you by the beloved Tacolicious team, is San Pancho: a sports cantina with a bright, stylish feel. The menu ranges from lighter fare to the incredible Quesoburguesa at $13 - a hamburger patty covered with chile con queso. Don't forget the light, crispy jalapeño popper tacos.
As far as drinks go, they have a build your own option (!) for the adventurous sort, where you choose from a list of house made syrups to pair a spirit. Also worth noting is the assortment of Micheladas available. We welcome San Pancho to the Mission, it's sure to be a hit.

Volta
In the heart of SoMa, few steps away from Westfield San Francisco Centre, Volta is bringing us an elegant French vibe.
The great duo Umberto Gibin and executive chef Steffan Terje, already well known for Perbacco and Barbacco in the Financial District, are coming back with a change of direction, like the name of the restaurant suggests (from Latin, a turning point, a change) Volta is a contemporary French restaurant, with delicious lunch and dinner menus and a great wine list, open seven days a week.
Volta is under the design guidance of Cass Calder Smith Architecture (who also designed the duo's other two restaurants), the finest details amidst the huge windows warming up the experience, the style is elegant, minimal and extremely geometric. The beautiful blue tiles are a pop of color in an extremely lofty environment.
