Phase 1 at B'nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim

MDRP was sent to Deerfield, Illinois by Finegold Alexander & Associates to photograph the conversion project at B'nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim. The architect converted an old office plaza into a shiny new place of worship. Phase II may be done next year and we are looking forward to finishing up the photography then.

Clock Bar, The Burrito Cocktail

Yes, it really does taste like a burrito.
UrbanDaddy sent us out to shoot this cocktail at the Clock Bar on Union Square in San Francisco. Food photography requests are becoming more popular now when shoot restaurants. We quite enjoy these requests. Keep 'em coming.
We only had 45 mins to get in, set up, shoot and upload this image to the editor. We shot it with a 150mm Hasselblad lens on a Phase One P25 Digital Back. We lit it with one Lowell Pro 250 Watt Tungsten spot.
The real trick was getting the cilantro to look just right.

MDRP Studio Grand Opening

On June 11th, MDRP hosted it's new studio's Grand Opening. The event was sponsored by Pop Champagne and catered by San Francisco's own Mariposa Kitchen. The event was held to honor the architects at Studio 12 who designed the space, and celebrate old and new friends. Thanks to everyone who came out to the event and be expecting another event on the horizon!

In 2009, MDRP shot Suzika's Hayabusa sports bike. The Hayabusa has been acclaimed the world's fastest production motorcycle with a sky rocketing speed of 194 miles per hour. Besides it's speed, the bike had a beautiful custom paint job. The industry leading marketing firm, Questus, has mocked up these ad's for MDRP.
The shoot was divided into two parts: one in studio shooting the classic sports bike, and the other on top of San Francisco's second tallest building. 555 California Street is located in San Francisco's financial district and stretches 52 stories above downtown.
